This week, I want to introduce you to Andrew Henry, Navajo Silversmith. He makes Story Bracelets that depict traditional Navajo life in Canyon de Chelly.
I met Andrew Henry and his wife at the Crown Point Rug Auction many years ago, in Crown Point, New Mexico. I liked his work and now own several of his pieces. We have stayed in touch through the years.
The Navajo Nation has been hit hard by the Pandemic. I want to help him find a way to sell his work. Your orders will help make a truck payment or buy gas. All orders will be placed directly with Andrew.
Sometimes just helping someone in a small way can make a real difference. Please consider ordering a bracelet. This year he is making 1/2" wide or 5/8" wide story bracelets. They are now available in Silver, Silver with Copper inlay, or Copper. Prices range from $30 for the 1/2" copper bracelet up to $450 for the 5/8" wide silver bracelet.

Thank you.
I have a ring I bought from an artist that was working in the Canyon de Chelly NP entrance building. It has the name Henry stamped in it. Bought it in 1998 or 99. Everyone comments on the beauty of it. Hope it's Andrew Henry's work.
I'm the proud owner of one of Mr. Henry's silver and turquioise braclets, having met him around the Canyon de Chelly area, on the Dine' Nation, early Summer. It is my very favorite jewelry pieces right now. I also have a stunning 7 strand moonstone and turquoise (but possibly howlite) beaded necklace from his wife. Both do great work!
