| Life at the Oregon Coast Some people think that late summer and early fall is the best time of year at the Oregon Coast. Sunny days and cool nights. Not so much grass to mow or new blackberry canes to reign in. In fact, lots of blackberries to eat! The Chinook salmon are returning to Nestucca Bay along with their friends, the brown pelicans. School is starting so there's less traffic. And good news - our firewood supply for the winter is on hand - a mix of alder, spruce and fir. |
